Non-isolated, Up-and-Down Active Power Factor Correction LED Driver Controller

KP116SPA is a highly integrated constant current LED controller, the chip adopts a quasi-resonant mode of operation, and the active power factor correction control technology can meet the requirements of high power factor, low harmonic distortion and high efficiency.

The KP116SPA has an integrated high-voltage starting and high-voltage power supply circuit, which simplifies the system design and production costs. By sampling the inductance current during the continuous current period, the chip can obtain ultra-high precision constant current output, and the output line voltage and load adjustment rate are excellent.

KP116SPA integrates complete protection functions to ensure safe and reliable operation of the system, such as: VDD undervoltage protection function (UVLO), cycle current limit (OCP), overheat protection (OTP), output overvoltage protection (OVP), LED open and short circuit protection.
